These esoteric words were offered by the hundreds of Siddhas (enlightened sages)  and by Lord Datta Himself to Swami Punitachariji for the benefit of humanity. He also pledged that after chanting these words for  some time and sitting quietly with eyes closed afterwards, the   chanters will spontaneously be elevated to the stage of concentration/meditation. The chanter does not need to make any effort on his part whatsoever but instead leave everything in the hands of Sadguru Dattatreya. This will relieve the  chanter of mental stress, increase working efficiency  and  provide peace and  happiness.

These mystic words are completely non-sectarian and absolutely not connected   with any teacher  or religion whatsoever. All these words individually and  collectively indicate the  virtues of formless universal power  for taking the chanter from darkness to light and imparting fundamental knowledge of the  Absolute.

Coming directly from the  Supreme Guru as they  are, these esoteric words are powerful enough  to make  the  chanter spiritually developed. Their chanting does not require any formality- mystical or otherwise  and  also  does not prohibit   the chanting of any other words or performing any rituals. On the contrary, chanting of this mantra supplements the effectivity of any other sadhana or ritual.
